Spawnette Is Learning To Drive

Don’t really need to say much more than what’s expresses through the photos below.

What A Lovely Drive!

Well THAT'S Gonna Leave
A Mark in The Dash

Hangin' On For Dear Life!

Actually, she’s not that bad of a driver any more. I was very comfortable with her behind the wheel.....because we WERE in a neighborhood with no lines on the roads and NO other cars in the streets. She even came to a complete stop at all stop signs. And she waited and waited and waited and waited and waited and waited and waited for ALL of the traffic to pass us by.

Okay, my niece is 5 but she already told her mommy that when she learns to drive she wants me to teach her because I've never been in an accident.
2 things.
1) I hope she grows out of it.
2) I hope she didn't jinx me!

Moo has just got her learners permit. So I have the same hair raising experience.

But then again I have only let her drive down the driveway so far!

They should hand out scotch or wine to the parents with the childs learners permit I think.

I finally learned to drive when I 33. I took my test in NY and it took all of 7 minutes. Unfortunately I still can´t drive stick shift and still can´t parrallel park. This is a bit of a problem when living in a country where automatics are unheard of and parking is incredibly tight!

:) This is a great post! And one you will probably need to reread when she comes home with her first speeding ticket and you wish she were still waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting for all the traffic to pass her by.

Oh I SO dread the driving years. I have quite a wait...but I'm already shaking.

My dad took me to the local cemetary to learn to drive. His logic being that the locals don't care; the streets are pretty much empty; and if I mess up, its also convenient...

Please post warnings when you know she's going to be out there driving. Those of us in the area can then stay home.

I dread the day my girls start driving. I got in an accident a week after I got my license. You are brave.

You're braver than I am. I simply cannot stand the driving thing. Terrifying...
